"Re-Inventing Your Business" Seminar & Workshops
Join is Friday morning, February 17 for an informative seminar and workshop. Our experts will teach you, hands-on in te computer lab, how to optimize your business from Google seraches, and how to use Facebook and LinkedIn to reach and sell customers. This event is sponsored by Friends of Main Street, the Winchester Economic Development Commission, the Northwest Connecticut Chamber of Commerce, Northwestern Connecticut Community College and The Gilbert School.
Keynote Speaker is Matt DeRienzo, Connecticut Group Editor at the Journal Register Companies, and a visionary in his use of the internat in the publishing and business world. Three break-out sessions are scheduled:
- Being Visible on Google with web designer Jeff Carriere
- Selling with Facebook with New Haven Register web producer Kaitlyn Yeager
- Networking with LinkedIn, with Cindy Donaldson, Director of Marketing at Founder's Insurance Group.
The day will start at 7:30 am with coffee, and you'll be back at work right after noon. The event takes place at The Gilbert School, 200 Williams Avenue in Winsted. Seeting is limited, so please reserve your place as soon as possible. A $20 registration fee will be collected at the door.
